Scratch Programming | Ages 7-9
Scratch is an exciting visual programming language created to teach children the fundamentals of programming. Kids learn to code interactive media such as stories, games and animations. By experimenting with Scratch, students can understand important foundational concepts such as loops, conditionals and variables. Students learn to think creatively and work collaboratively throughout the process.

Using Lua programming language, students create and code their first game in Roblox Studio while learning how to use scripts, variables and loops for in-game visual effects. Projects include creating your own Obby (obstacle course) that classmates and friends can play.

Game Development with JavaScript | Ages 9-12
Build the game of your dreams with the Construct 3 game engine. Learn how to add sprites, create environments, maps, and behaviors. You can use scene-graph and timeline features to design creative animations and import 3D images. Games cover a wide variety of creative media such as graphics & sounds as well as user interface design.

Web Development | Ages 12-15
Teens learn the building blocks of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, along with the history of web design from the 1990's onward. Students create a basic portfolio and learn beginner-advanced coding skills using Glitch and Codepen. Sample projects include an introduction to tags, elements, attributes and the structure of a basic web page, as well as functions, variables and events in JS (plus special effects & chatbots).
