ALL-NEW PROJECTS! Students learn how to create animations, computer games, and interactive projects using Scratch, a graphical programming language developed at MIT. At the end of the course, students create their own computer games to share with friends and family. Scratch 3.0 offers new coding blocks, characters and features.

3D Game Development | Ages 7-9
Dive into Game Development with Kodu Game Lab, an educational programming environment used to create interactive games, stories and animations. Kids code their personal projects using a block-style visual programming language. Kodu runs on Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, 8 and 10. Kodu is not compatible with Macs or Chromebooks.

Minecraft 3D | Ages 7-9
This exciting custom curriculum merges earth science topics with Minecraft environments. Kids build and explore coral reefs, underwater worlds, volcanoes, windmills, caves and more. Projects include spelunking in caves, building and exploding volcanoes and designing an underwater world along the coral reefs.

RPG Maker, known in Japan as RPG Tsukūru, is the name of a series of programs for the development of role-playing video games. Students learn how to use icons, sprites, and basic graphic design while creating an immersive story, characters, and environment popular for developing 2D games. Imagine your friends playing as the heroes you created, traversing dungeons and thwarting plans hatched by evil villains.

Roblox Studio | Ages 10-12
Students build, modify and create games and apps with Python programming. Debugging activities help students learn specific rules about syntax and the structure of code. Once students have built their example project they are asked to customize the program to solidify their understanding and demonstrate proficiency with the skills they’ve learned.

Machine Learning | Ages 10-12
Students will learn the basics of computer programming using Scratch 3 in order to train a Machine Learning Model. They will learn about variables, conditionals, functions, and many other programming concepts. These concepts will be used to train and test Machine Learning Models in order to recognize text and images and predict outcomes.
