YOUR CHILD IS REGISTERED TO ATTEND:

Minecraft & Robotics | Ages 7-9
Afternoon HALF-DAY Session: Mon-Thu  1:00-4:00pm | Fridays 1-3pm

Location: Gwinnett School of Math, Science & Technology, 970 McElvaney Ln NW, Lawrenceville, GA

2. Refillable Water Bottle
3. Laptop computer, power cord & computer mouse

WHAT NOT TO BRING
1. Toys
2. Valuables
3. Food items containing nuts or nut butter (Kids 4 Coding is a NUT-FREE PROGRAM)

WHAT TO DOWNLOAD/INSTALL ON YOUR COMPUTER (nothing)
The instructors will install 2 different Minecraft launchers on your child's computer before the lesson begins.  You DO NOT need to purchase a Minecraft account for this program.

PERSONAL LAPTOPS:  Please write the ADMINISTRATIVE PASSWORD on a notecard or tape it to your child’s laptop.  Don’t forget to include the power cord and a mouse!  Kids 4 Coding is not responsible for lost power cords, mice, flash drives, etc.

LAPTOP RENTALS: Please reserve a laptop rental at least 3-days in advance of your class. 

 

CELL PHONES:

Cell phones must remain out of sight and in silent mode during instructional time.

 

​IMPORTANT | Drop-off and Pickup: 
Proceed to the back of the building and line up in the carpool lane (see instructions below or click on PDF to print). Please DO NOT park your car in the lot and walk up to the check-in area or try to enter through the front of the building. Check-in/check-out is done through carpool only.  Check-in/check-out is through Kids 4 Coding at the back of the building. Students must stay in their cars until the check-in line opens at 12:50pm.

​LATE PICKUP:

There is a 5-minute grace period for late pickup. Beyond 5 minutes, a late fee of $2 per minute will be charged. For late pickup beyond 15 minutes, additional fees will apply.  

CARPOOLING WITH OTHER PARENTS/FAMILY MEMBERS:
Please provide a handwritten note at drop-off if a friend or relative is picking up your child.

MEDICAL:
If your child has a severe food or bee allergy, please consider bringing an EpiPen. Please write the child's name on the outside of the container.
